Many people do not know that there are other international airports than Manila. These airports are often much nearer to the final destination. Flying to another international airport may need a bit more planning. But instead of transferring in Manila (see our Manila Transfer Guide), one can find a much easier transfer in Cebu, Clark, Davao or Kalibo.
There are more than 40 local airports with airline connections in the Philippines and there are some 40 local small airports for charter and general aviation. A few years ago one always had to transit by Manila when flying from one provincial city to another one. Now more and more direct flights are available.
It can be very useful to know which other airports are near your destination. For example instead of flying to Naga City, one might also fly to Daet or Legazpi and then ride overland to the final destination. Reasons could be better schedules or connections, bad weather or a closed airport.
10 international airports. Not all "international" airports offer international flights.
16 class 1 domestic airports
19 class 2 domestic airports
and some 40 community airports (only partially shown on the map)
We cannot provide direct links to the timetables because their names change at each update. But we can provide links to the pages where the timetables and route maps can be found.
Schedules (timetables and routes) change usually twice a year in May and October. Many flights have the remark (UFN) "Until Further Notice". This means that the airline can modify or cancel these flights any time.
